Senior Accountant

?? Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually (DOE)

Overview:
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's growing team in Portland. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working across multiple accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting procedures and reporting accuracy
• Participate in audits and assist in preparing audit documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience; CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
